NAIDOC Week 2-9 July

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year. Come along and join the Bunjalung of Byron Bay (Arakwal people) and the community in celebration of NAIDOC week. Meet at Railway Park Playground. Celebration walk to Denning Park (next to Byron Surf Club). Thursday 6 July, 10am-2pm.

The Byron Beachside Market takes place four times a year in early January, Easter, July and late September. The Beachside Market is a ‘make it, bake it, sew it and grow it’ market held on the Byron Bay foreshore east of the Surf Club.

Matsuri (Japan Festival) Byron Bay 9 July

An annual event to introduce Food, Kimono, Taiko Drum and unique Japanese cultural experiences, a non-profit community entry-free event. 10 x Japanese STREET FOOD STALLS, Evening Picnic style LIVE Japanese music, Kids TAIKO, Craft, Music & Dance Workshops, and Japanese entertainment.

Splendour in the Grass 21-23 July
