Rick’s Comedy Review returned to Paradiso Music Room in September for its fourth monthly show, bringing another mix of comedians and comedy styles to Byron Bay.
Presented by Byron Bay Comedy, the monthly night has already featured around 20 comedians, and one of the most interesting things about the first four shows has been just how different they have all been.
From established Australian headliners to touring acts, up-and-coming comics and local performers, no two have been quite alike.
September continued that mix, with Brian Freeman headlining, Andrew Roper as MC, and Elysia Hall, John Peacock and Lou Smith joining the line-up as showcase comics.
The idea behind Rick’s Comedy Review is to bring a different group of comedians to Byron Bay each month and put on a fun night of live stand-up in the small, intimate setting of Paradiso Music Room.
The show is now a regular fixture on the Byron calendar, held on the last Tuesday of every month.
