The inaugural Mullum Roots Festival is set to take over all our favourite venues in Mullumbimby on July 12 & 13, 2025, and we’re beyond excited to announce the first wave of incredible artists who will grace the stages.

Leading the charge are the original independent avant-garde folk heroes The Waifs, headlining what is sure to be an unforgettable weekend of music.

Festival Director Lou Bradley—fresh from the success of the 9th Nimbin Roots Festival, that only just wrapped on October 27th, shares her enthusiasm for this new
venture: “We can’t wait to bring the same celebration of original music and artistic expression to Mullumbimby with our sister festival. The experience we’ve gained with
Nimbin Roots has taught us how to craft an unforgettable festival, and Mullum Roots will also deliver a world-class event while staying true to our deep sense of community.”

World-famous artist Reg Mombasa, who is also a member of Dog Trumpet, has designed the exclusive festival artwork.
