Nudge Nudge Wink Wink returns to the Shed at the Billinudgel Hotel on Saturday 2nd May, bringing together a dancefloor that fills fast, music that carries the room, and a community that knows how to be part of something meaningful.
From the first tracks of the afternoon, there’s a sense of enjoyment. People arrive, settle in, and reconnect. As the light shifts, so does the energy. The music builds, the room lifts, and by evening the dancefloor is moving as one.
It is a night shaped by flow, familiarity and those moments where everything clicks into place. A dancefloor that feels open, warm and shared.
Since 2015, Cunning Stunts has donated more than $454,000 to 42 local organisations, proof that this is a party with real impact behind it.
May’s Line-Up
May’s line-up brings together a mix of familiar energy and fresh sounds, setting the tone early and carrying it through the night with a flow that holds the dancefloor from start to finish.
DJ HALO – A second-generation DJ with a natural instinct for the floor, HALO has quickly become a standout across the Northern Rivers scene. Known for her seamless flow, melodic builds and deep, driving selections, her sets are immersive and emotionally charged without ever losing momentum. A co-founder of Beat Fleet, Playground and Kohlective, she’s a familiar name across Byron’s most loved dance spaces, with appearances from local halls to festival stages including Splendour in the Grass. We’re thrilled to welcome her back for a 2-hour closing set.
DJ Favourite Son – Opening the night, Matt Aitchison (AKA Favourite Son) brings a rich musical legacy shaped through his time with OKA and beyond. His sound blends organic grooves, sun-warmed rhythms and melodic storytelling, creating a set that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
This will be his first Nudge appearance, bringing original productions and reworked favourites into the Shed.
Cunning Stunts resident DJs Lord Sut and Dale Stephen are the fabric of Nudge Nudge Wink Wink. As co-founders and long-time custodians of the dancefloor, they have shaped the sound and feel of the night from the very beginning. With an instinct for timing and a deep understanding of the audience, they know when to lift the energy, when to hold it, and how to bring people with them. Their sets are about creating the thread that connects the entire night.
They are a big part of what makes Nudge feel the way it does. Enjoy!
Dancing to make a difference: Proceeds from both the May and June 2026 events will support Fletcher Street Cottage. Based in the heart of Byron Bay, Fletcher Street Cottage provides essential, day to day support for people experiencing hardship. It is a safe and welcoming space where people can access meals, showers, laundry and connection at a time when they need it most. As demand continues to grow across the region, the Cottage remains a vital part of the community, offering practical support alongside dignity, care and human connection.

Awarded Byron Shire’s Community Event of the Year (2020), Nudge Nudge Wink Wink is the monthly party where world-class DJs play in the best-sounding shed in the Southern Hemisphere, all while raising funds for local causes.
