NT Live: Giant

The acclaimed stage play Giant, starring John Lithgow as author Roald Dahl, comes to the Byron Theatre screen in this National Theatre Live presentation. Filmed in London’s West End, the production won three Olivier Awards before its sold-out Broadway season.

Set during the summer of 1983, the play follows Dahl as controversy surrounding a recent article forces an explosive confrontation and a choice between apology and reputation. The cast also includes Aya Cash, Elliot Levey and Rachael Stirling. The screening runs for approximately two and a half hours, including an interval with complimentary afternoon tea.
