The Mullumbimby Farmers’ Market is a fantastic way to experience Mullum’s community spirit. There is a myriad of delicious fresh produce stalls, as well as exotic market breakfasts and hot coffee. Relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and enjoy the local musical talents that perform each week.
The Mullumbimby Farmers’ Market began in April 2010. Since then, it has become a central part of the Mullumbimby community, and a meeting place for locals. Shopping at the Mullum Farmers’ Market helps support small, local farms. This keeps money in the local economy, and ensures that the market can be sustained in the long-term.
The Market features over 50 stalls, and this includes 13 certified organic producers. The great thing about shopping at the Farmers’ Market is that the fresh fruit, vegetables and herb varieties change with the weather. That way, you can enjoy the best the season has to offer.
You will also find a range of products that are made by local bakers, and other local producers. These range from artisan wood fired bread, amazing local honey, and a range of local nuts, to sustainable meats, such as local beef, pork, chicken, as well as seafood that was farmed in Ballina.
The Mullumbimby Farmers’ Market is a great place to purchase your weekly groceries, to catch up with friends, and to relax on a Friday morning with a coffee and some music!
