Overview

Come with us on a journey into the untouched temperate rainforests of the Nightcap National Park. Wild Byron offer guided and informative rainforest adventures, visiting sites such as the spectacular Minyon and Quandong Falls set in the prehistoric rainforests of the Wollumbin Volcanic rim.

This stunning walk to the the base of the spectacular Minyon Falls journeys through a range of forests and alongside stunning creeks. In summer cool off with a swim under the waterfall.

We commonly encounter a range of wildlife including ,wallabies, koalas, goannas, green tree snakes, carpet pythons, brush turkeys and the elusive Alberts Lyre bird.

Minyon, is a plunge waterfall on Repentance Creek in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. The waterfall is more than 100 metres over the huge overhang rhyolite cliffs which were once part of the Wollumnin volcanic rim.
