Byron Bay is home to a residential group of bottlenose dolphins which is estimated to have 100 dolphins in population. There are a number of these dolphins who we have come to know well after observing them for many years now. We are lucky enough to see Dolphins on most of our tours.

If you do miss out on seeing Dolphins, we will give you another trip for free, that’s a promise.

Humpback Whales up to 15 metres in length can pass within metres of your kayak while you are out on the Bay. They are such inquisitive mammals that they will at times swim right underneath your kayak and frolic very close to the shoreline in Byron Bay. Whale watching season begins in early June and continues right through to early November  each year.
