BBFF26: Derek vs Derek

Set in the idyllic English countryside, Derek vs Derek follows two neighbouring farmers locked in a long-running and often funny feud. One believes in intensive dairy farming; the other is rewilding his land with ponds, wild boar, beavers and threatened native species.

BAFTA, Rose d’Or and Grierson award-winning director James Damer Dawson uses their turbulent relationship to explore a timely question: should land primarily produce food, or help restore nature?

The feature is preceded by short films. Unclassified. Approximate duration: 2 hours 10 minutes. Doors open at 2:10pm.
