The Easter school holidays are a great time to visit Byron Bay with the family. Falling in autumn, the season brings warm days, clear water and cooler evenings that make it easy to enjoy time outdoors. The break kicks off with the iconic Byron Bay Bluesfest over the Easter long weekend, setting the tone for a lively few weeks across the region. Kids can jump into everything from surf lessons and ocean adventures to circus workshops, wildlife encounters, fairy trails, skate camps and hands-on farm experiences. Markets and local events add to the energy, making it easy for families to fill their days with fun.
