Salt in Her Veins travels through different corners of women’s surf culture: beginners finding friendship and confidence later in life, Cornwall surfers creating space for themselves, a Danish crew braving winter, and New York surfers connecting waves, food, migration and identity.

At its heart is She in Storms, following Austria’s first female big-wave surfer Christina Gindi from Nazaré through injury and a profound reconsideration of identity. Together, the films explore freedom, friendship, belonging and resilience.
