Byron Theatre presents BACKSLIDERS

Multi award-winning Australian, blues-based band, Backsliders, will present a special show dedicated to Rob Hirst, Backsliders’ drummer for over 25 years, following his recent death. Backsliders will enlist friends of the band to help celebrate Rob’s life. The set will be made up of a selection of Rob Hirst and Dom Turner original songs from the band’s extensive catalogue.

Founding member, guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter, Dom Turner, and harmonica virtuoso, Joe Glover, will be joined by drummers Rosscoe Clark and Hamish Stuart, in the tradition of bands such as The Allman Brothers and The Tedeschi Trucks Band, along with a number of very special guests throughout the set.
