Father’s Day is on Sunday 1st September – celebrate the Dads in your life with brunch, lunch or dinner at one of Byron’s many epic restaurants. Or buy him the gift that he’s been secretly hoping to receive!
Forest at Crystalbrook Byron
Celebrate Dad in style this Father’s Day with brunch at Forest restaurant at the beautiful Crystalbrook Byron resort. Whether he’s a fan of hearty breakfasts like the beef cheek sandwich or enjoys something lighter like Paleo Granola with coconut yoghurt and berry compote, there’s something for every Dad to enjoy. Indulge in a mouth-watering selection of dishes, from classic Eggs Benny served in a freshly baked croissant to Forest’s signature Bangalow B.L.A.T. on a toasted brioche bun. And because no brunch is complete without a little extra indulgence, treat him to Forest’s bottomless mimosa package – $35 for 2 hours of a selection of Prosecco based cocktails – it’s the perfect way to toast the man of the hour while enjoying quality time together in the tranquil surroundings of this rainforest retreat. Brunch and the bottomless mimosa package is available 7:30am to 3:00pm on Father’s Day.
Bayside Yakiniku Club
If your Dad loves to grill his own food, check out the Japanese BBQ at Bayside Yakiniku Club (BYC). Located opposite Main Beach in Byron Bay, BYC set up a hot charcoal grill on their tables for patrons to cook their own meal – yakiniku translates to ‘grilled meat’ in Japanese. BYC has a great selection of Japanese starters, tasty salads and daily specials, and you can choose from an incredible selection of market fresh vegetables, high quality meat and sashimi grade seafood to cook on your personal grill. All ingredients are pre-marinated in authentic Japanese marinades and are served ready for you to put straight on the grill – you will also be given a range of delicious house made dipping sauces to accompany your food. I highly recommend you get the wagyu – it is of the highest quality and so delicious – and also check out the incredible sake! BYC is open 11am – 7pm on Father’s Day, with the BBQ available from 3pm.
